If you’ve been following me on Facebook, you may have noticed that I’ve recently purchased a 1979 Coachman Cadet pull-behind camper and I’m beginning the renovation process. Having just returned from a vacation with my partner and his phat RV motor coach that we secured together earlier this year, I’m even more convinced that a goal I set for myself years ago is coming to fruition. The law of attraction is bringing things into place again and I’m excited to go with the flow.
For years, I’ve talked about how I’d love to own a small camper and once our daughter turned 18 and graduated, I’d be able to re-arrange my massage practice to accommodate travel for a couple of weeks out of the month. My mother used to even give me birthday cards with checks in them to go ‘toward my camper’ and admittedly that money would usually go toward school lunches or other bills. About three or four years ago, I kind of forgot about that dream. Raising a teenager, running a business, and well….doing life…caused me to almost lose site of it. However, interestingly enough, exactly one week after Nyah turned 18, I just happened to be driving by a house as a ‘for sale’ sign was being placed on what is now my cute little pull-behind camper. It needs some work, but is in generally good condition. I’ll share the renovation process in upcoming posts, but for now I’m just focusing on my ultimate vision for ‘her’, a/k/a the camper. She will soon have a name!
I’m such a firm believer that the universe is conspiring to support me that I’ve chosen to go ahead and openly share what I’ve yet to manifest between now and the end of March 2022 in order to pull this off. First in foremost, I’ll need to get a different truck. I absolutely love my Toyota Tacoma, but it’s just not strong enough to pull her. While I have an temporary solution to borrow a truck when I need to haul her, I will ultimately need my own. While I’m pretty partial to Toyotas, I’m remaining open to whatever is placed in my lap, just like the rest of the things and people whom I’ve attracted into my life. Often times, what ends up crossing my path is better than I could have imagined with my limited mind.
Secondly, as the end of the year is approaching, I’ll soon be working on my 2022 client schedule. I am appreciative and thankful, in advance, to all of my clients who are willing to stick with me and schedule around my travel adventures. Coaching services will still be available as I’m able to do that remotely with telephone and videoconferencing.
Finally, and quite possibly the most fun part, is I’m preparing to host communal retreats with her. Many of you know I’ve recently begun life[style] coaching and I’d like to take this into nature. So, I will be looking for yoga instructors, meditation guides and other relative service providers who might be interested in working with me to host 3-5 day communal retreats, traveling up to a 16-hour radius from this beautiful hub known as Springfield, MO.
What will I do with it whenever I’m not traveling? Well, I’m glad you asked! It will be available as an Airbnb rental! More details are shaking out on that in the plan, but I’m excited to share my little vintage home with others.
Imagine waking up in a cute vintage home away from home, starting your morning with yoga and/or meditation in a state or national park followed by eating delicious, high-vibe food. Then, going for a group hike, kayak trip, horseback ride, spa day….or, spend the day diving into YOU: your goals, your aspirations, your journey to self love and acceptance, your LIFE. These communal retreats will be completely customized for each group. I expect to host only four next year to save some of these weeks for personal travel.
Thank you to those of you who understand the manifestation process and are helping attract and co-create this reality. I’m excited for what the future holds! This is just a small piece of an even bigger vision. Oh…and if you have any suggestions for what to name her, let me know! 🙂
P.S. I’ve already found my theme, thanks to this super cute Retro Etsy store!
