As many of you know, I’ve been a partner at Theta Wellness Center for over five years and was part of the original expansion back in 2017. The atmosphere, services and team at Theta are unparalleled as far as I’m concerned and I’ve been extremely grateful to have been rooted there for so long. It is with a bittersweet tongue that I announce my relocation and decision to pass the torch of partnership on to someone else in 2024.
This last year has proven to be one of the most challenging ones yet and the universe has been encouraging me to simplify and focus. So, I’ve decided to listen. With our daughter’s recent relocation to New Jersey and all that came along with that, I’m ultimately reminded how important energy conservation and protection is. As the first of this year begins to unfold, I’ll begin to share details of what I’ve learned and the various experiences that have shaped this better understanding of myself and my response to the world around me in hopes of helping others choose a new way of looking at life.
Until then, I’m here to reassure you that I’m thrilled to dive into my personal practice and endeavors again. I’ve found the courage to rise above and silence the internal dialogue that has been holding me back for the last few years. Yes, I’m still doing massage, but 2024 is the year I will truly allow myself to turn on the porch light of hope for those who are looking to choose better: better thoughts, better habits, better environments, better boundaries, better tools, better goals and aspirations….a better way of looking at their world by being still and allowing their heart to lead, rather than their mind. Yes, both are important, but the heart is where the energy is. The heart is where we connect with ourselves, our higher power and one another. And, it is through this connection that we are able to be still, surrender and stop overthinking, judging and self sabotaging. Awareness over judgment, always.
Beginning in January, I’ll be located within Transcend Massage and Wellness with Tara Rigger at 1740 S. Glenstone, Suite J1, Springfield, MO 65804. It’s VERY easy to find, just behind (east) Coyote Adobe Cafe, near the northeast intersection of Sunshine & Glenstone. My hours will also be increasing and you’ll notice that I’ll be offering some pop-up Cacao Ceremonies as well as leading Tuesday morning nature hikes along with Rachael West from Eating the Ozarks and publishing more books. As my business name reflects, the walking through the forest is for resting the soul, too.
Theta will still be my family and all of us massage therapists continue to utilize one another for our own healing, so please know this is a positive move and I will be forever grateful for my experience at Theta. It’s always such a blessing to do business with and have relationships with such growth-oriented people who can appreciate the bigger picture and provide space for collaboration, expansion and possibility.
